Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of oryx-audio.com and everything sold or provided through it: audio engineering services, digital products, memberships, the rewards program and the stream features, all operated by ORYX ("we," "us," "our"). By using the site, placing an order, buying a product or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

Service orders placed through the order form are requests, not confirmed engagements. Every order is reviewed personally and we may decline any project. Approved orders are invoiced (PayPal, card or cryptocurrency); work begins after full payment unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Scope, deliverables and formats are defined in the invoice. Communication and file transfer happen over Discord or email using the contact you provide. Crypto payments are final and non-reversible; a wallet address is provided after review with a limited payment window.

Your order confirmation includes a private tracking link. Keep it private; anyone with the link can view the order status.

Store purchases (drumkits, plugins, presets) are delivered instantly as digital downloads via a private download link. Keep the link private; it allows re-downloading within reasonable limits.

Because digital goods cannot be returned, store sales are final once delivered, except where a product is faulty, materially not as described, or where law requires otherwise. Report problems through the support chat and genuine issues will be resolved.

Products are licensed for use in your own music, including commercial releases, unless a product page states otherwise. You may not resell, redistribute or share the files themselves, in whole or in part, including in other sample packs or kits.

Memberships are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime from your account; access and unused credits stay usable until the end of the paid period.

Each billing period grants service credits (mixes, masters, beats and, on applicable tiers, management sessions). Credits roll over while your membership is active and expire when it ends, whether by cancellation or non-payment. Delivery of requested work is scheduled at our discretion and communicated through your account. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable or refundable.

Seats per tier are limited. We may adjust tier contents, pricing and availability for future billing periods with notice; changes never reduce what you already paid for in the current period.

Signed-in, non-guest accounts earn points on store and membership spending. Points are a promotional benefit: they have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be redeemed for money and can only be used as store credit or to claim store products.

Referral links reward the referrer with points and the referred buyer with a first-purchase discount. Self-referral, automated abuse or creating accounts to farm rewards voids the rewards involved and may lead to account closure.

The free spin is a promotional bonus that unlocks with an account's first paid purchase: one per account, prizes are points or store credit with no cash value and no cash alternative. Odds are fixed server-side and identical for every account.

We may modify or discontinue the rewards program at any time. Earned balances will be honored for a reasonable period after any discontinuation notice.

Accounts are created through Twitch or Google sign-in; stream features also allow guest sessions. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the platform, attempt to defraud the rewards system, or submit unlawful content.

By submitting a track or link to the stream queues you confirm you have the rights to it, and you grant us permission to play, review and react to it on live streams and recordings of those streams, and to display its title, artwork and your submitted name on the site, including public leaderboards. Scores and feedback are subjective opinion, given for entertainment.

The support chat connects you with a real person. Replies are typically within hours but are not guaranteed within any timeframe. Messages and the email you provide are stored so we can respond.

Mixing and mastering: you own the master recording. You agree to credit ORYX in metadata and streaming credits (for example "Mixed by ORYX").

Beats are sold under one of five rights tiers, named on the invoice. Every tier is exclusive: the beat is removed from sale and you own the master recording. On every tier except Ghost Production, ORYX is credited as producer ("Prod. ORYX") in metadata and streaming credits.

• Ghost Production: as Full Buyout, with no producer credit. ORYX will not publicly claim the work.
• Full Buyout: you own 100% of the publishing. ORYX retains no share of any kind.
• Exclusive: you keep 100% of master revenue. ORYX retains 50% of the publishing (composition) share as co-writer.
• Exclusive + Small Split: as Exclusive, plus ORYX receives 25% of master royalties through a split registered at your distributor.
• Splits: no upfront fee for the beat. ORYX receives 50% of master royalties and 50% of the publishing through splits registered at your distributor. If the track is not released or scheduled for release within one year of delivery, all rights to the beat revert to ORYX.

Tiers that include a master split are sold together with mixing and mastering. Any tier can be upgraded to a higher one for the difference in price. Membership beat credits are delivered on Exclusive terms.

We may reference completed public work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise. All site content, branding and product files remain our property except as licensed to you under these Terms.

The site and its products are provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outages of the third-party services we build on.

We may update these Terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: use the support chat on any page.
