1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of oryx-audio.com and the music production, mixing, and mastering services provided by ORYX ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
We provide professional audio services including, but not limited to:
- Beat Production (Lease or Exclusive)
- Mixing and Mastering
- Custom Audio Post-Production
- Executive Production
The specific scope of your project (deliverables, file formats, and alternate versions) will be defined in the manual Invoice sent to you prior to payment.
3. Ordering & Workflow
Vetting: All orders submitted via our website are requests for service. We reserve the right to decline any project based on schedule availability or fit.
Communication: Primary communication, file transfers, and project updates will occur via Discord or email. It is the Client's responsibility to provide a valid Discord handle or email address.
File Transfer: We do not host client audio files on this website. Files will be transferred via secure third-party services (WeTransfer, Dropbox, or direct Discord transfer) to ensure security.
4. Payment Terms
Work begins only after 100% of the quoted invoice is paid, unless a specific payment plan has been agreed upon in writing.
A. PayPal / Fiat Payments
Invoices are sent manually via PayPal. Chargebacks or payment disputes without prior communication will result in immediate termination of services and potential blacklisting from future work.
B. Cryptocurrency Payments
We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), USDC, and USDT.
Volatility: Due to market volatility, Crypto payments must be executed within 2 hours of the wallet address being provided.
Network Fees: The Client is responsible for all network gas fees. The total amount received in our wallet must match the invoiced USD value.
Refunds (Crypto): In the rare event a refund is granted for a Crypto transaction, the refund will be issued in the USD equivalent value at the time of the refund, generally paid in stablecoin (USDC/USDT) or store credit. We are not liable for market fluctuations between the time of payment and the time of refund.
5. Revisions Policy
We offer Unlimited Revisions to ensure your satisfaction, subject to the following strict conditions:
Active Phase: Revisions are provided until the Client marks the project as "Approved" or "Complete."
Scope of Revision: Revisions cover adjustments to the mix balance, EQ, dynamics, and effects.
New Files: If the Client submits new tracking stems or recordings after the mixing process has begun, this constitutes a New Project and may incur additional fees.
Reasonable Use: We reserve the right to pause revisions if requests become excessive, contradictory, or outside the original scope of work.
6. Intellectual Property & Credits
Mixing/Mastering: You (the Client) retain full ownership of your master recording. You agree to credit ORYX in the liner notes, metadata, and streaming credits (e.g., "Mixed by ORYX").
Beat Production: Rights to beats are governed by the specific Lease Agreement or Exclusive Rights Contract attached to your invoice.
Portfolio Use: We reserve the right to display the finished work (or a snippet thereof) in our portfolio for promotional purposes unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.
7. Referral Program
Commissions: Affiliates earn a 5% commission on the total service fee of referred orders.
Payouts: Payouts are processed manually upon the successful completion and payment of the referred project.
Prohibitions: You may not use your own referral code for your own orders ("Self-referral"). Abuse of the system will result in the forfeiture of all accrued commissions.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for any data loss, server failure, or file corruption. Clients are strictly advised to keep backups of all their sessions and stems. We purge project files from our local storage 6 months after project completion.
